Aunt Mona, I just want you to know I am thinking about you and praying for whole family. Uncle Ricky will be missed by all. He was really a super guy I remember as I was growing up. I love you all. Teresa
Dear Mona, Brian, and Brad! No words can possibly express all that I would like to tell you at this terrible moment...
I've spent a year at your house as an exchange student and you made me feel a part of your wonderful and beautiful family. I remember us waiting for Rick to come home from Papua New Guinea, remember you Mona checking your email box every single morning for news from him. I remember Brian and Brad looking for him at the airport at the arrival gate. And when he finally came we were the happiest family in the world.
Even though I was just a one year guest at his house, Rick would never make difference between his sons and me. Rick was kind, wise, life loving person.
I will surely come to the place where you rest in peace Rick, to say thank you Dad for everything you've given me, for a little part of you will always live in me.
Mona, Brian, and Brad, I and all of my family are with you. You are in our hearts and prayers.
Mona, Rick was a wonderful guy and our prayers are with you, the boys and your family. God Bless! Ron & Rhonda Byrd
We are very sorry for your loss and offer our deepest sympathy.

Steve and I are sorry about your loss and want you to know you are in our prayers and thoughts. It is hard to express in words what we want to say but just to let you know we love you and hold you in our hearts. God Bless you and watch over you during this time.
Rick was a very special person. I worked with him in Angola on my very first offshore assignment. The first day I was in Angola Rick toured me around the malongo base and introduced me to the D&C team. He was a great Superintendent to work for. His knowledge, experience and kindness will be missed by many of us here at Chevron.
Rick, although you are not physically here to read this, I write this to that little part of you that lives in everyone that you have touched throughout your life. I would like to thank you for giving my sister the WORLD. Brian and Brad and the memories you created together are what will get her through this seemingly unending sad time of her life. I do have the comfort of knowing how much your family means to you, so I know somehow you will continue to take care of them. Walk with God Rick, but look over your shoulders every now and then because they will be there one day. I love you!
Dear Mona and Family, we express our sincere condolences to you in this time of sorrow. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
