Bill and I were so sorry to learn of Renee's passing. We met in the 11th floor waiting room at M.D. Anderson and Renee was with her Dad, Butch. Bill enjoyed talking to Butch so much, and I enjoyed my visit with Renee. It was a short in time, but long in memory as I remember her grace and smile and friendliness. I’m so sorry that Renee lost her valiant battle. Heaven is a better place with her there, but I know she will be missed here. I still remember riding bikes with Renee around the neighborhood all summer long in elementary school and her beautiful voice singing at Sunday evening mass. You will be in my prayers.
There are no words to express the beauty, compassion and gentleness of Renee’s spirit, which still inspires so many-including myself-to live with such love and grace.
