I met Laverne and Bill when I was 17 years old. We had a bond ever since. She was the very best grandma any kid could want. She would visit every Wednesday with goodies for the kids. She taught me how to make gravy. She loved her grandchildren. She always loved me. I always loved her. Still do! Hardest working woman I've met.
