The MANY people who came today to show their love for Kat and her family was simply amazing.. Although many are still trying to make it through her loss, evidence of her many TRUE friends surrounded her today.. The support from Kat's family and friends will help to ease the difficult days to come.. Thank you so much to the Halstead family who so willingly shared Kat and your grief with the entire community during your darkest and saddest time.. Kat I can remember how anytime I would see you in the hallways you would be singing "oh I just can't wait to be king". You made band practices fun. Just seeing your smile makes me smile. You are greatly missed. My prayers go out to all the family and friends through this difficult time
I have been friends with Katherine's grandparents, Ronnie and Cindy, for years. I remember when she was born, and seeing her as a little girl. She was always smiling. I pray for comfort and healing for the family.
