Dear Momma Rose and family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I just can't believe Jo is gone. I deeply regret that I was unable to attend the services but please know that Jo and your whole family have been in my heart and prayers.
Jo was an amazing woman to work for. I have so many wonderful memories and experiences from my days at Gallinghouse and so glad I had the privilege to be one of her Gals back in the day. She was always full of energy and ideas and a wonderful person to be around. She brought out the best in those around her. Jo's creativity was infectious! I loved our breakfast meetings at Judice's and our Jazzercise evenings and moving into the amazing office your husband designed.
Wishing you love and prayers of healing,
I am so grieved to hear of this. Joanne and I are cousins. We found out by accident when we were in high school. Her maiden name was Jemison. This was my daddy’s middle Name and his mother’s maiden name. Not sure we ever got the particulars. She gave me a kitten in ninth grade that we had for years and years. We called each other “cuz”. We reconnected with Facebook several years ago. I loved her sweet spirit. She shone even in adversity. I will miss her.💔

Dear Rose and family:
So sorry to hear of your loss. I was unable to attend the funeral services because I had to work. Joanne had a beautiful spirit and accomplished so much in her lifetime. She had so many gifts and talents which she shared so freely. I want you to feel my arms around you, now, at this time of great sorrow. Know that I am praying for Joanne, and each of You. Rose, you especially, will be in my thoughts and prayers, May Joanne rest in the arms of God and be surrounded by the heavenly choir of angels. I Love You Always!

Jo and I were really good friends many years ago. I met her and her husband Walt when she started Tri-Focal Advertising. I wrote many articles for the firm and she and I became very close friends. From water skiing on the Tchefuncte River to working on Covington's Bicentennial celebration, I have many fond memories of Joanne.
My heart goes out to you Mama Rose.
With love,
Anne Favret
A lady of constant enthusiasm and intelligent grace. Her presence in Covington will be greatly missed.
Ms. Rose, I just learned of Joanne's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time...we should never have to bury our children.
God bless, Susan Schexnaildre
Rose, So, so sorry to hear of Joanne’s death. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.
I remember Joanne from Leadership St. Tammany West. She is a pleasant memory from one of my best NorthShore experiences.
