I knew Jim at Baton Rouge High, and we became good friends while attending LSU. We had many cups of coffee together at the Student Union between classes. We also had an “occasional” beer or two at the Bengal on Highland road. I haven’t seen Jim in many years, but I will always remember him as a good person and a good friend.

Jimmy was such a great friend during our school years from, Nicholson Elementary to BRHS. I remember walking from Nicholson to third street to attend the Paramount or Hart theaters and visit his aunt's beauty shop next door to the Hart. He really enjoyed attending our class of '63 Reunions. He will be missed..condolences to Jim's family
