I was so sorry I was out of town on Saturday and could not attend Eddie's memorial service. Eddie and I met in first grade, in Mrs. Mizell's class, at Fifth Ward School. Sorry to hear about Eddie. I was a class mate of his brother Larry and knew both Eddie and Rita. Spent lots time with Larry at his fathers home in Waldheim. The Jacobs family was a wonderful group as we all had fun growing up in Covington in the 50's - 60"s.
One of my favorite teachers ever, and a mentor to me when I taught at FJH. he was the highlight of my time there. My prayers and condolences to Sean and the family.
