I am so saddend to hear of Don's passing. Don was a valued employee of Shell and I am so grateful of the time I got to work with him as a colleague.

Don was a good friend and colleague at Shell and more recently in a business venture. I am indebted to Don for saving my life six years ago when I suffered a heart attack at work. He will be sorely missed by me and many others.

Don and I came to work for Shell New Orleans at the same time in 1977, right out of college. We roomed together for the first leg of our training in Houston and had a great time. Don was a great guy and a creative geophysicist. My prayers go out to his family.
