Mom, I love you always. You will always be missed. I LOVE & MISS YOU ALWAYS, Your Son Wayne !!!
There are so many wonderful memories of my cousin Cheryl. I am so thankful our family was reunited in the 80's. Cheryl was this beautiful bright lady, smart, funny, sassy, and so loving. I just loved her and so did Mom and Dad. Wonderful memories of picnics in the backyard, trips to the Mountains, going to Estes Park, the picture of the boys on top of the mountain. Dad and I loved her red beans and rice, she was such a good cook! Last time I was down in Lousiana I had red beans and rice for dinner and breakfast! When they were in Colorado, we went white water rafting, Cheryl and I fell toward the center of the raft, hit heads and about knocked each other out. We went water skiing too. She loved her family with a fierceness and with deep love., but she also didn't brook any nonsense. She had a big heart. She worked hard every day. Loved to read. Loved to laugh. Had that twinkle in her eye. She always had so much love to give to Big Wayne, her boys, her beautiful daughter-in-laws, her beloved grandsons, their beautiful wives and her two precious great-granddaughters. I remember how kind and loving she was to me when my Mom died, and she did anything needed and still held on to me and comforted me. When Larry and I flew down for the wedding, she made us feel welcome in the midst of the big event! The next time we visited, we got to see their lovely new home, visit some of their favorite places, see where the boys lived, and she took my most favorite picture of the two of us at a great seafood place where we went to dinner. Cheryl always made me feel welcome, made me feel loved, and made me laugh! I am so sad she is gone, I am heartbroken, and I know everyone else is too. I will miss her the rest of my days. Love you, dear Cheryl.
Cheryl will be missed, but on my memories forever. I had the privilege of working with Cheryl for 12 years and no finer a person have I ever known. Cheryl was beautiful in heart and sprit and made the world a better place.
