Charlie Browne, my son Bryan's FIL.
What a man he was. We did not have many conversations, because quite frankly, one did not converse with Charlie Browne, we all know you just listened!!! Or to be honest, one just half-listened! We also did not have very much in common as far as our view of the world goes, but we did share one thing. I felt his love and respect always and I hope that he felt mine. He loved my son & I love his daughter. We did not have to say the words to each other, we just knew it. My heart aches for Missy, Mindy & Todd. It is so hard to lose your dad. I hope that you find peace in the fact that the beautiful care you gave to him these last few months was your greatest gift to him. We will certainly miss "Gramps" down here on Jack Lloyd Road. Don't know how we will manage to feed the fish, cut down trees, kill weeds, grate the drive, keep the lawn mower & tractor running, and whatever else we endeavor, with-out his advice and guidance. Not that we always followed that advice, but we certainly could count on it. RIP Charlie Brown! I'm sure we will speak of you often and miss you always. Lynel Moore

(my wife tells me the night before we meet..these are "business" people...order coffee....not Coke-Cola..
I get there..Charlie and Joe are aruging in a booth..like they all ways did...
Joe wanted a new company car....a sports car so he would look "good" and could drive fast to see more customers...Charlie rolls his eye's at Joe, looks over at me, say's "Fred what do you want to drink"...Hegar's paying for it..
I say "coffee" black ...waitress turns to Joe..
I'll have a glass of "Chocolate Milk"
Charlie looks at Joe...looks back at the waitress...I'll have the same....
What was I getting myself into......

Since 1959 to Nov 2023, Charlie and I were friends. Feb 1965 he was my Best Man, also went on our Honeymoon, he and Ellen. Charlie and I went to San Francisco for Six wks with Chevron Ortho Div. After that they move to San Antonio and we to Waco. Charlie and I would meet every other Tuesday in Austin. He stayed in agriculture business until he retired.. We talked or I say Charlie talked usually 1 hour each week since 1993.He would come to Pride, LA to my wife Barbara farm to visit often. I will miss our visits especially McNeese Agri Crawfish boil each May. One day in future (not to soon) will visit again in Heaven.
