  • Edward J. Fielding, III, CFSP

    Edward J. Fielding, III, CFSP President /Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer

    A proud 5th generation funeral director and embalmer, Edward J. Fielding has spent most of his lifetime caring for families during their greatest time of need. Edward owns and operates E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, Inc., Pinecrest Memorial Gardens & Crematory and Covington Monument Co. in Covington, Louisiana.

    With more than 50 years of funeral experience under his belt, Edward offers superior care and unmatched expertise to each family he serves. In recognition of his achievements, he was recently elected to the prestigious position of past President for the Louisiana State Funeral Directors Association.

    Because Edward has lived in Covington, Louisiana his entire life, he strives to serve his community in every way possible. He has served as an elected official with the St. Tammany Parish School Board for a total of 12 years. He has also been involved in Junior Achievement, St. Tammany West Chamber of Commerce, The St. Tammany Youth Service Bureau, K bar B Youth Ranch, Covington Rotary Club and has held coaching positions for various recreational sports. He serves on the board of a local bank and is a member of the First Baptist Church in Covington.

    Married for more than 50 years, Edward and his wife Rebecca have three sons and five granddaughters. Edward is extremely proud to live and serve in the great town of Covington, Louisiana.

  • Benjamin  Fielding

    Benjamin Fielding Funeral Director, Embalmer, Cremation Certified

    Benjamin “Benjie” is a lifelong resident of Covington, LA. He was married to Annette Fielding in 1994 and is the father of 3 daughters Emily, Caroline and Brooke.

    Benjie is a 1991 graduate of Covington High School and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving from 1991-1995. He is a 1998 honors graduate of Delgado Community College earning an Associate Degree in Mortuary Science and has 20 years experience in the funeral business.

    He has also served as manager and memorial graphics designer for Covington Monument Company and is the owner of StoneSource, LLC serving southeast Louisiana with custom countertops for residential and commercial needs.

    Member of the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) and the Louisiana Funeral Directors Association (LFDA), St. Tammany Homebuilders Association, American Legion Member & First Baptist Church of Covington.

    Benjie enjoys hunting and playing golf.

    Resident of Covington, LA.
    Graduate of Saint Scholastica Academy.
    Attended Southwestern University.

  • Mark  Spohrer

    Mark Spohrer Funeral Director, Embalmer, Cremation Certified

    Mark is a native of Baton Rouge, LA and a resident of Covington, LA. Married 1974 to Marie Spohrer, and they have 3 children, Michelle (Alan), Joe (Jess), and Matthew (Ruby); 5 grandchildren.

    Mark is a graduate of St. Pauls High School and a 1978 graduate of Delgado Community College earning an Associate Degree in Mortuary Science. He has work in the funeral business industry since 1976 and joined the staff at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home in 2000 and currently serves as the Director of Funeral Service Operations.

    Member of the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA), the Louisiana Funeral Directors Association (LFDA), and Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.

    Marks hobbies are fishing, gardening and playing cards.

  • Richard Schoen Fielding, II

    Richard Schoen Fielding, II Funeral Director, Embalmer, Cremation Certified

    Richard Schoen Fielding, II is a native of Covington, LA.

    He is a graduate of St. Paul’s School and attended LSU and received a degree in Bachelor of Fine Art /Graphic Design in 1999, he also attended Delgado and graduated in 2012 with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in Funeral Service.

    Richard started in funeral service in 2009 with E.J. Fielding Funeral Home and is currently working as a Funeral Director, Embalmer & Cremation Specialist.

    He is a member of the NFDA and LFDA, Northlake Community Band and Covington Community Band.

    Rich is married to Katie Ann Fielding. They have two children, Marissa and Warrick.

    He enjoys playing drums and guitar and writing music.

  • Rona Koenig-Cristadoro

    Rona Koenig-Cristadoro Funeral Director, Embalmer, & Cremation Certified

    Rona Koenig-Cristadoro is a native of Waggaman, Louisiana and a resident of Mandeville, LA .

    She’s a 1994 graduate of John Curtis Christian High School and received her Associates Degree May 2013 from Delgado Community College.

    Rona started working with E.J. Fielding Funeral Home in 2020 as a Funeral Director, Embalmer, and Crematory Operator and has worked in the funeral service since 2012. She interned at LakeLawn Metairie Funeral Home, Embalmer for Carriages 4 funeral homes (Schoen, Tharp, Garden of Memories, & Greenwood) in New Orleans, Funeral Director/ Embalmer/Crematory Operator Bagnell & Son Funeral Home.

    Activity involved in the LFDA as secretary of the South District, is a member of NFDA and ICCFA. In 2019 she joined and is active in Mandeville’s Krewe of Eve, and is a member of Fontainebleau High School PTA. Member of St. Timothy on the Northshore United Methodist Church.

    Married in 1998 to Kenny Cristadoro Manager of Cracker Barrel in Slidell. They have two children Reese Cristadoro Senior at Louisiana Tech Chemical Engineering and Kendall Cristadoro Junior at Fontainebleau High School active in ROTC program. Their family pets are King Julian, Reba, & Coco.

    Rona enjoys giving back to people especially those in needs heavily involved in: Marines Toys for Tots, Collecting items and donating to those affected by natural disasters, and 2nd Harvest Food Bank.

  • Christopher Sherrill

    Christopher Sherrill Pre-need Specialist

    Christopher Sherrill is a native of Marrero, LA. He’s married with one child and is currently living in Mississippi.

    A graduate of Pearl River Central High School, attended Jones County Junior College and the University of Southern MS graduating in 2013 with a Bachelors of Criminal Justice, minor in Forensics with an emphasis in Juvenile Justice.

    Chris has been working in funeral service since 2019 and started working with E.J. Fielding Funeral Home in 2020 as our Pre-Need Specialist. He worked for Pinecrest Memorial Gardens doing cemetery work in 2015 & 2016.

    He enjoys having getting together with all of his family and friends. Chris also enjoys hunting and doing police work on the side. He loves doing all the cooking for his family.

  • Annette  Fielding

    Annette Fielding

    Annette is a lifelong resident of Covington, LA. She was married to Benjie Fielding in 1994 and is the mother of 3 daughters Emily, Caroline and Brooke.

    Annette is a 1991 graduate of Covington High School and attended SLU university for 2 ½ years Majoring in Accounting. She has 18 years experience in the funeral business and has held several positions for E.J. Fielding Funeral Home as Funeral Service Assistant, Vital Statistics Admin, Human Resource Manager. Accounting Coordinator for Pinecrest Memorial Gardens and Covington Monument Company.

    She is a member of First Baptist Church of Covington, LA and is active in her children’s schools and volunteering when possible.

    Annette’s hobbies include scrapbooking and she loves being a soccer mom and spending time with her kids.

  • Eileen  Strohmeyer

    Eileen Strohmeyer Accounts Manager, Office Administration

    Eileen is a resident of Abita Springs, LA.

    She is a 1977 Graduate of Covington High School.

    Eileen has been working for E.J. Fielding Funeral Home since January 2005.

  • Marie Spohrer

    Marie Spohrer Vital Statistics Administrator

    Marie is a native and a resident of Covington, LA. Married in 1974 to Mark Spohrer, and they have 3 children, Michelle (Alan), Joe (Jess), and Matthew (Ruby); 5 grandchildren. She is the daughter of Edith Fielding Greenwood who is the sister of E. J. Fielding, Jr.

    Marie is a graduate of St. Scholastica Academy and attended Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe, LA.

    She is a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and cared for preschoolers for 17 years with First Baptist Church of Covington, Kehoe France School, and Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and School. Marie loves volunteering at the church.

    Marie started working with E.J. Fielding Funeral Home in 2004 as Office Assistant and Vital Statistics Administrator.

    Karen Ann Taylor Vital Statistics Administrator

    Karen is a native and a resident of Covington, LA and a 1983 graduate from Covington High.

    Karen started working with E.J. Fielding Funeral Home in 2020 as Vital Statistics Administrator and has worked in the funeral service since 2014.
