1982: Sue, promise me you'll sing Whiter Shade of Pale at my funeral and you'll sing Baby Blue if I'm buried.
I did, on both counts. I still do..
16 years in just a few days. I have your globe and look at it, remembering those MCI cards we burned through while you were in Europe. It swallowed one of the dowel pins, so I got more. I don't ever hear Whiter Shade of Pale without wiping my eyes. I hear Baby Blue and still see all of us (when you were there) beating the tables at the drum solos at Two Guys. You completed me. That part will keep missing until my soul leaves my body and I pray to GOD that you finally came around and accepted the grace and the save.
