Met Sally through the internet. We visited frequently and she and Hettibell visited me during the huricane. We had greats times together. She and "The Cat" taught me to like cats. I thnk that she was surprised when she heard me and my clarinet play, " I wonder what's become of Sally" to her over the telephone.. God broke the mold after he created Sally...... Andi, I was introduced to Sally only a few short years ago by her sister-in-law, Nancy Whitehouse, but came to love and admire like a treasured lifelong friend and adventurer in life. She was unique. As we grieve, Nancy and I will be thinking of you as you grapple with the loss now overwhelming you. Feel great satisfaction in your relationship with Sally and the unmistakable knowledge that she loved you so much and was secure in your remarkable love for her. May God bless and keep you . . .

I met and knew Sally through a good friend of mine . Sally was a vivacious young lady . She was fun loving and a true friend . When my daughter passed away she sent me her condolences as she also had lost a child and understood the lose. I will miss her. my condolences to you andi and your siblings .
I spent many hours drinking coffee and sharing life experiences with Sally. Over time I came to know her and love her as a priceless friend. I will miss her.
I came to know Sally when I married her oldest son. Even though the marriage didn’t last, my respect and love for the O’Donnell/Gibson family never ended.
Every Christmas was eagerly awaited by my children and me because that was the time when we would get to see them. Sally was always a wonderful person and her love for her grandchildren was always there and my children’s love for her was always present. From Jonathan spending over a year collecting frogs of all shapes and sizes to give to his grandmother, to Madison taking one of his first trips alone as an adult to visit her, to Christopher eagerly talking about his grandmother to his girlfriend and what it would be like to have them meet for the first time; unfortunately that wasn’t to be.
Sally amazed me by how she overcame the many difficulties in her life and still had a sense of respect and love for that life. She inspired me to keep a calm head through some of the difficulties in my life.
I give this tribute with an admiration and appreciation that will live on forever.

Sarah was my beloved Grandmother whom I have know for most of my life. Things will be different now but at least I can take comfort in the fact that she is reunited with Grandpa Jim.
I'll always remember visiting her in Hawaii, Florida, Maryland and of course Louisiana. Although morbid, the last time we met, I had a strange feeling that this was going to be the final goodbye and after sharing my feelings with her, I remember her saying that "I've lived a full and long life and I regret nothing. I am so proud of you for having the courage to say goodbye. I love you, baby."
