I enjoyed working with Ron at Martin Marietta from 1984 until he retired. At the time he was responsible for the Financial activities of the ITS department, a responsibility that I inherited in later years. I just received word this morning of his passing, and am so sorry for all of the family. He was great to work with and was a tremendous asset to Martin Marietta which is now Lockheed Martin.
Our deepest sympathies from my family to yours. I started work in the MIS department of Martin Marietta in 1984. I knew and enjoyed working with Ron during that time.

Dear Joe, We know it has been hard for you since your dad had a surgery last year. Our hearts went out for you as often we saw you worried and so sad thinking about his condition. Hai often gave us update of how Mr. Hatfield was doing. Though suffering with the physical pain and difficulties he was always in a good spirit. We were so proud of him and admired him for being such a fighter. He was a loving husband, kind father, and definitely a wonderful grandpa that Sean, Amanda and Ethan were crazy for. It broke our hearts to see the kids sobbing for the loss of their granpa. He will be missed greatly. But since he left us with all the beautiful memories, we will always think about him with a smile. May that twinkle in his eyes lighten your heart in this time of sorrow. We keep you and your beautiful family in our prayers.

Please accept my sympathy on the loss of Mr. Hatfield. I worked with him at Martin Marietta for 9 years. When I was laid off in 1992, I think he was more devastated than I. He was such a sweetheart,a real gentleman and so wonderful to work with.
