I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Bobby's illness and passing. I kept in touch with my dad often as to his progress. I am sorry that did not stay in touch with him. I think I can speak for my brothers in saying that he reminded us of Steve Martin. I'll never forget the arrow in the roof in Atlanta. Priceless and classic Uncle Bobby. I thoroughly enjoyed the video tribute. I know that he was loved by all.
I wish to express my sincere condolences to Dee and the family. I am truly sorry that I didn't make it to the funeral. I just found out about Robert's death, today in the paper. Robert was a great person and a true friend.

We moved here in 1984, off Hoffman Rd. Robert's Hardware has always been the spot we use for directions to our home since our name combines with the store & our street.
Robert was always happy to share his knowledge when we didn't have a clue about our septic tank, water well, etc. We will remember his kindness and always having a smile.

I was so sad to hear the news that your husband/father had passed away. I wish I could be there to support you all at the funeral - please know all of you will be in my thoughts tomorrow. I still miss my dad terribly but what helps me is what someone told me 8 yrs ago - you are an extension of your father - he is a part of you, your children and so on - the person who told me this never knew my dad but he said he did know him because he had known me. Also, what helps me is this phrase - what the catepillar knows as the end of life, the butterfly knows as the beginning.

Mr. Robert was a hardworking, kindhearted, one of a kind. Always quick with a smile and a joke...he and Ms. Dee treated me like family and I will always remember him with respect and admiration.
