I just found out today of Nelda's passing. She was my supervisor when we split into the separate section that worked 4pm til midnite (BellSouth, Holiday Blvd, Covington). I was her learning experience of having to handle the paperwork needed by the company to get time for my military training. I really liked Nelda as a person; she was kind-hearted and her faith held her strong. My thoughts and prayers go out to her husband, sons and grandchildren. I am sorry to hear about Sister Nelda's passing. I have such fond memories of her from the days when my father pastored at Savannah Branch. I will rejoice with her, for she is with Jesus, and pray for her family as they miss their dear wife, mother, sister, and friend.

Jim and the boys,
Just wanted you to know you have my continuous prayers and deepest sympathy during this time of loss. I always thought highly of Nelda and admired the woman she was. She will be sorely missed. I will always be thankful for the many years of friendship that began during our early years in ALW. You were my field trainer and with Jack as my upline were the fondest of days/times. I know that words can never convey or give lasting solace during this difficult time, but, know that I'm here for you should you need anything. I would have attended tonight, but, had some crises at work that caused me to be otherwise detained. May God give you peace and comfort in the days ahead.
