Louis Vernon O’Chery, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2008.
Beloved father of Catherine Allord , David O’Chery, Jane Venezia and Susan Crescioni; grandfather to eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Cora Richard O’Chery; mother, Catherine Tobler O’Chery; father, James O’Chery; brothers, James O’Chery and Pershing O’Chery; and sisters, Camille Campise, Evelyn Wentzel and Thelma Ernest.
Age 84 years, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Mandeville, LA, he was a retired insurance agent with National Life and Accident Life Insurance Company/American General Life and Accident Insurance Company. He was a United States Navy veteran having served in the Pacific during World War II.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial services on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 12:30 PM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
Visitation on Saturday will begin at 10:30 AM.
