We'll all miss that smile. My very deepest sympathies. Love always...Leslie.
To all of the O'Briens, Wow, so many memories of Mr. O'Brien come flooding back just from hearing the news: the big house off of Tyler, St. Peter's Church and School, Mardi Gras in Covington, Fallon Realty, swimming at the Chalaron's. I am so sorry for your loss. Best to all of you.
Dear Mrs. O'Brien and Family,
With deepest sympathies to you and your family on the passing of Mr. O'Brien. I remember him fondly when I attended St. Scholastica Academy and of course, you were my Spanish instructor. Mrs. O'Brien, I am sincerely sorry for the loss of your loving husband. From our family {George W. Stokes, Sr.} to your family, may you know that your family are in our thoughts and prayers. May comfort and peace come to you and yours as your reflect on loved one with fond memories and love. God bless. Thinking of you,

My late wife, Kay and my late son, Jim, and my three daughters Bea, Vicky and Mary lived in Covington for 12 years: until 1966 and were close to the O'Brien family. Charlie was a dear and true friend who has always been in my heart and frequently in my thoughts. My son, Jim and I had a wonderful reunion with him during our last trip together in 1984 and Kay & I met with him & Alyce after that: always with love and joy. He was a wonderful man. May we meet again. Alan
I am with you in heart and spirit at this sad time. And to you all, I say thanks for the memories.
When I think of Charlie, I will always remember his fantastic BBQ sauce and all the great picnics and parties. I'm sure there is a great one going on in heaven right now!
God bless and comfort you. Love, Daphne
Dear Friends,
Covington won't be the same without Charlie. So many of my best memories are linked to fun times with the O'Briens -- especially the delicious barbeques. Love to all, Diane
My thoughts and prayers are with you as you morn Charlie,s death. Alyce, Charlie and children have been an extension of our Benedictine family for which I am indeed grateful and so proud. May your faith, God,s strength and your friends be a support you now and always.
My deepest condolences to all of you.
