To the family of Amanda,We never had the pleasure of meeting Amanda. After veiwing the video, family love stands out in it. Amanda was married to Vincent, who was once our son-in-law. Whom we have a great love for. We pray that God will bless all of you with the strenght that it will take to get through this great loss and to keep her memory alive in the young family that she leaves behind. It won't be and easy task, Hold on to all the memories. There will be the ones that you will laugh about and then the one that will make you cry. Mr. Claude, Ms. Mary,Stacey and Angie, I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I didn't hear about the accident til Friday morning therefor I regret that I missed the funeral.I wish I could have come to express my condolences in person and say how sorry I am to hear of this tragedy. I had just seen Amanda at Chuck E. Cheese in January and we chatted briefly about our life since Katrina. She was always so funny tagging along with me and Angie as we played in the neighborhood. I have fond childhood memories of her. She was a sweet child and Im sure she was a wonderful wife and mother. May God bless you and give you and her husband and children peace in this time of sorrow.

I could hardly believe what Debbie was telling me when she called. Life is so fragile and we never know when we will be called home. Amanda was my grandniece, but I only met her once, on Christmas Eve at her dad's house. I had heard my sister Bebe share story's of Amanda and all the grandchildren, as well as share pictures as they were growing up. I feel like I have always known her well.
I know this is going to be a difficult experience for the family to recover from, but she would want you to go forward. She will be watching over you and I know that at those special family times you will feel her presence. She is nearer than you think and though you cannot see her, she can see you. I am very sorry for your loss. Amanda was such a sweet person. I am a nurse at Dr Carters office and she always came in with a smile. She never complained about how long she had to wait. She always came in with stories to tell. She was a great person and a great mother.
