Adelaide Johnson Boettner passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at her home in Mandeville surrounded by her children. She was born in New Orleans on May 18, 1933 to Adelaide Dumestre and Henry Johnson. A native of Read Obituary
Adelaide was the step-daughter of Kathryn Johnson, my late father's older sister. It's been several decades since I lived in Louisiana and we last spoke in person, but I remember Adelaide was always very nice to me and the rest of the family. She did remarkable service to the community of Mandeville.

Adelaide will be missed by Susan and I . Every year before a party in May she would call me to be sure the Crayfish were going to be good that year. Of course, my answer would not matter as she would come and her share and some of mine.

Our deepest sympathy to Adelaide's family. We played some bridge a long time ago and enjoyed that time in our lives. We lost our father/husband, Roger, in May so know the pain Adelaide's family is going through now.
