Roselyn Earline Bailey

God’s Angel of Mercy came into the home of Roselyn Earline Bailey and bore her loving, caring spirit away, on Monday morning, January 18, 2021. She was born on December 21, 1952, to the late William McKinley and Eva Childs Bailey. Roselyn was baptized under the leadership of Dr. Mallery Callahan, Sr. She participated in the choir and served on the usher board for a while. Roselyn was educated in the public schools of St. Tammany and graduated from Covington High School in 1970, which is notable known as the first integrated class in the school’s history. Roselyn worked in the St. Tammany Parish School system as a Secretary/ Bookkeeper for four decades. She was an avid reader and a “die hard” Saints fan. She leaves to mourn her untimely passing: one sister, Lillian Elaine Chuney of Detroit, Michigan; two brothers, Hubert McKinley Bailey and Heard Harris Bailey (Loretta); three special nephews, Jeromy Hollins of Covington, Louisiana; Joel Bailey of Madisonville, TN and Juwan Harris of Covington, LA; sister-in-law, Shirley Harris; a devoted friend/cousin, Shequita Walker and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
