Mary Eunice Watson Kahl

April 10, 1931 - February 2, 2022

Mary Eunice Watson Kahl age 90 of Bush, entered eternal rest peacefully on Wednesday morning, February 2, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Franklin County, Mississippi on April 10, 1931 to Henry Duval Watson and Mary Lee Deas Watson. She is survived by her beloved husband of 72 years, Herbert Sherwood Kahl. She was the loving mother to Cynthia Kahl Hages (Jeffrey), Sheryl Kahl, Jonathan Kahl (Patricia), and Charlotte Kahl Rutan. She was the proud grandmother of 17 grandchildren and devoted and proud great grandmother to 11. Eunice was the sibling of Dora Watson Pugh (Phillip) and Georgia Watson Murphy (Carroll). Eunice is preceded in death by her parents Henry and Mary Watson; her brothers, Joe and Dudley Watson; and her grandsons, Nathan Boydston and Neal Boydston. A native of Franklin County Mississippi, Eunice graduated from Demonstration High School at Southern Mississippi University in 1949. Eunice cherished and adored her role as a homemaker to her loving family. She was a resident of Bush for over 45 years. She was devoted to her faith and an active member to Hebron Baptist Church of Bush for more than 20 years. Eunice was a kind, humble, and caring person. Her true passion was spending time with her family. Eunice was well respected and loved by many. She will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at Hebron Baptist Church, 79614 Highway 41 Bush, Louisiana 70431 on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 11:00AM with visitation from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow the service at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery. Due to COVID-19, social distancing and masks are encouraged to attend services. E.J.
