Lavern is survived by her son, Michael L. Talley; grandchildren, Tina Taylor, James Talley, Ashley Talley, Jordan Talley; great grandchildren, Devyn Montana, Kyle Schech, Isabella Talley, Makayla Talley, and Lucas Talley; and siblings, Ouida Talley, Carolyn Cox, and Jessie Taylor. Lavern is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 65 years, Amos Lee “Bill” Talley; her son, Paul E. Talley; granddaughter, Shana Talley; and her siblings, Gladys Booth, Titus Taylor, Coleman Taylor and Ola Fussell. Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at Fitzgerald Methodist Church, 80007 Fitzgerald Church Road, Covington, LA 70435 on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 9:00 AM until service time.
