Larry Allen Talbert

Larry Allen Talbert age 71, of Covington, LA entered eternal rest on January 29, 2022 at Christwood Assisted Living in Covington, LA. He was born in Grenada MS on March 18, 1950 to Louise Long Talbert and John Biggers. Larry is survived by his beloved wife Jan Hinshaw Talbert of 11 years, was a loving father to Bryan Hays Talbert (Tonie), John Mason Talbert (Michelle). Also is survived by sister Julia Hardy and 5 brothers, James Talbert, Ben Biggers, Mark Biggers, Dan Biggers David Biggers and step father Howard McBride. He was a proud grandfather of Sean Anthony Talbert, Patrick Hays Talbert, Hays Charbonnet Talbert, and Corinne Charbonnet Talbert (CC). He was preceded in death by his first adorning wife, Corinne Hays Talbert, mother Louise Long Talbert, his sister Linda Gaye Talbert, brother Mike Talbert, his father John Biggers, step mother Helen Biggers. Larry attended Waterproof High School and Louisiana State University where he graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Larry was an avid hunter, fisherman and anything outdoors. He loved being on the water where he found relaxation and was at peace with nature. Relatives and friends are invited to the Celebration of Life at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Friday February 4, 2022 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 9:00 AM until the service.
