Kayla Lauren Campo age 33 of Ponchatoula, entered eternal rest unexpectedly on Sunday morning, March 13, 2022. She was born in Metairie, Louisiana on Wednesday, September 14, 1988 to John T. Campo Jr. and Karen Loyacano Campo. She is survived by her adoring children Benjamin Rock Lemoine, Adalyn Belle Whittaker, and Myles Vincent Whittaker, her grief stricken parents John and Karen Campo, her loving and only sister Jennifer Bradley (Stanley Bradley), brothers Jacob Campo (Courtney Campo) and Michael Bauer Jr. Kayla was the proud aunt of Jonathan Walder, Theodore Walder, Sullivan Walder, Kylie Bauer Clement, Lainey Clement, Zachary Leblanc, Bethany LeBlanc, Avery Leblanc, Bennett Leblanc, Nicholas Bradley, Jax Campo, Eli Campo, Callie Campo. She is also survived by her Maternal Grandmother Verna Olive Loyacano. Kayla is preceded in death by her Paternal Grandfather John T. Campo, Sr., Paternal Grandmother Ida Dispensire, and Maternal Grandfather Nicholas Loyacano. Born in Metairie, Louisiana, resident of Ponchatoula, Kayla graduated in 2007 from St. Scholastica Academy High School. After high school, she began her professional career in medical field as medical assistant for 10 years. Kayla was kind and most of all a very loving person. She enjoyed spending time indoors, outdoors, fishing, biking and nature walks with her children on the Northshore parks. However, her true passion was spending time with her loving family. Kayla was unique and cherished listening to a wide array of music from rock to contemporary relaxing music. She was well respected and deeply loved by many, and will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
