Marjorie Glick
My name is Marjorie Glick. My maiden name was Marjorie Marko. Karen and I went to school together and graduated from Clay High School in 1968. Karen asked me to go to Washington DC with her as a graduation trip. We stayed at her uncle's home and he dropped us off at the Capitol Mall on his way to work and picked us up each evening. He was involved in security in DC. It was my first flight and trip anywhere. I had a great time with Karen and her family. We even went to New York and saw the Rockets. I still think back about that adventure we had. I will never forget it. I have been back to DC three times since. I have fond memories of Karen. She was a great gal. It is funny but my grandmother went to work for Bell Telephone in Niles, Michigan and retired after 30 years too. I lost track of people in my class. Recently I ran across a list of my classmates and saw that Karen had passed away. I am really late paying my respects to her and her family but I want you to know how sorry I am that she is gone. I still have pictures of our trip together. I am glad to hear she had a full life and a wonderful family that loved her. Rest in piece Karen.
Your friend,
Margie
