Jon Shepard Champagne

Jon Shepard Champagne passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022 at the age of 62, surrounded by his family. Jon was born in Covington, LA on July 7, 1959 to Joseph Alvin “Mickey” Champagne, Jr. and Audrey Carey Champagne. Jon is survived by his daughter, Casey Ann Champagne and grandson, Jude Shepard Champagne, who was the love of his life. He is also survived by his siblings, Larry Champagne and Joel Champagne. Jon was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Michael Joseph “Mickey” Champagne and Audrey Michon “Blinkey” Champagne. Jon was a lifelong resident of Covington, LA. He graduated from Saint Paul’s School where he was the drum major for the Marching Wolves. He then furthered his education at LSU and was a proud member of Sigma NU. Jon loved his time on the water and watching sports, especially LSU! His life truly changed when he became PawPaw to Jude!
