SPC Hunter Alan Ritter passed away on June 2, 2022 in Colorado Springs, CO. He was born on October 19, 1999 in Covington Louisiana to Kristine Annette Ritter and Kenneth Scott Ritter. Hunter was the loving brother of Garrett Scott Ritter, Chase Addison Ritter, Jack Thomas Ritter and Elise Kristine Ritter. Hunter was the beloved grandson of James Addison Ritter and is preceded in death by Gail Margaret Schluter Ritter. Hunter graduated from Biloxi High School in Biloxi, Mississippi. He spent four years in the Army stationed at Fort Carson, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. During his time in the Army, Hunter was deployed abroad in service to his country. Hunter has been recognized as an outstanding soldier by his unit and command. Hunter loved hiking the mountains of Colorado and good “tasty” food. He loved the gym, his Family both at home, and in the Army. He is described by friends as a loyal, charismatic, charming, hardworking, dedicated friend and an expert warrior who was loved by all. Hunter had flawless character, a big heart and was a great leader. Our family loved our beloved son and there will forever be a huge void without his presence. God bless you son, until we meet again. Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at St. Timothy on the Northshore United Methodist Church, 335 Asbury Dr., Mandeville, LA 70433 on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 2:00PM with visitation from 12:00PM until 2:00PM; Reception immediately following the service.
