Catherine McNabb Graves Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

It is with great sorrow the family of Mrs. Catherine McNabb Graves announces her passing on July 10, 2022, at the age of 79. She was born to John and Catherine McNabb in Darby, PA. She is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, John Graves; her sister, Helenann McNabb; and her brother, Matt Walsh. Cathy leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving children, son, Edward Graves, daughter and son-in-law, Leah and Julian Caballero; her grandchildren which were her pride and joy, Sarah and Cameron Graves; her sisters, Agnes (Jimmy) McEneaney, Rita Moss, and Gerry (Charlie) Ruibal; her brothers, Jimmy (Carey) McNabb and Johnny (Dee) McNabb along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Cathy’s vocation as a Registered Nurse started at West Jefferson Medical Center, working in Pediatrics and as a Floor Nurse. Later, she worked at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in the Emergency Room, Pediatrics, and overseeing the Endoscopy Department. Cathy’s healing skills and compassion helped so many, and she loved caring for patients and helping their families. Cathy most loved being a wife, mother, and proud grandmother, as family was everything to her. She was also passionate about her sports teams, especially the Saints and LSU! Cathy’s family invites everyone to attend services honoring her life on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington, LA at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow services at St. Joseph’s Abbey Cemetery, 75376 River Road, Saint Benedict, LA.
