Caleb James Canterbury passed away on Friday January 1, 2021 at the age of 4. Beloved son of Amanda Walden Canterbury and James Mark Canterbury. Loving brother of Jeremiah Peyton Walden and Tristan Gage Canterbury. Beloved grandson of Belinda Gail Canterbury and Harold Lynn Canterbury. Beloved nephew of Becky (Ricky) Jarrell, Theresa (TT) Walden, Gary (Brenda) Faulkner, Tracy (Shannon) Canterbury, and Harry (Lauren) Walden. Caleb was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Harry Walden and Carolyn Riley and his aunt Rachel Davidson. Also survived by a host of cousins and friends. Caleb was a happy and loving little boy. He shined in any room he would walk into. His smile could turn the worse days good. He was so brave and when he would wear his Spider-Man outfit he thought he could do anything Spider-Man did. He loved being outside helping daddy work on things or helping mommy cook dinner. He said when he grew up he wanted to work in the plants like daddy did. He wanted to be just like his daddy. Caleb loved his big brother Jeremiah he thought he was the coolest kid around, he was so proud to call him his bubba. Caleb loved his momma, he spent every moment of his short life by her side, helping her cook, and always asked her to make sure he cleaned all his poop. He hated to be dirty, he always had to clean his hands or change his clothes "HAD TO WASH MANY OUTFITS". Caleb will always be remembered as a happy, sweet loving boy. He stole our hearts from the moment we saw him. He was a selfless child who would give to everyone and never wanted to see anyone sad. He would make me so proud and prideful when he would see a police officer or a man in the service and had to run and shake their hand and tell them "Thank you for your service". One thing we know is this isn't goodbye its only see you later. For one day we will have our beautiful little boy back in our arms. If Caleb could ask one thing it would be to love like Jesus did. Caleb loved Jesus. He wanted to tell everyone everywhere we went about how Jesus was in his heart. So anytime anyone thinks about our sweet boy please remember his saying "BECAUSE JESUS IS IN MY HEART." Due to COVID-19, social distancing is encouraged and masks are required to attend services.
