Adele Saacks Mulé

February 14, 1921 - January 17, 2022

Adele Saacks Mulé, age 100, passed away on January 17, 2022. She was born in New Orleans, LA on February 14, 1921 to William Joseph Saacks, Sr. and Jeanne Marie Rousse Saacks. Adele was raised in New Orleans before moving to St. Bernard where she resided for 54 years, until Hurricane Katrina. She then resided in Covington, LA until her passing. Adele was a generous and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and sister. She is survived by her daughters, Anna Mulé Hogan (Pat), Jeanne Mulé Zoerner; her daughter-in-law, Diane Mulé; 6 grandchildren, Suzanne Hogan Berthelot (Perry), Timothy P. Hogan (Jill), Sean P. Hogan, Todd J. Mulé (Sandy), Brian D. Mulé (Heidi), David A. Mulé (Kacie); 13 great grandchildren, Perry J. Berthelot, II (Kristi), Chase Berthelot, Timothy P. Hogan, II, Melanie E. Hogan, Julianne E. Hogan, Madison E. Hogan, Brooke E. Hogan, McKenzie A. Hogan, Allison M. Mulé, Megan A. Mulé, Madeline M. Mulé, Brianna M. Mulé and Blake J. Mulé; and 6 great great grandchildren, Katelyn A. Berthelot, Braden A. Berthelot, Ryder H. Berthelot, Alexis E. Hogan, Aubree L. Hogan and Annistyn N. Hogan. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Adele was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Mulé, Sr.; her son, Joseph Mulé, Jr.; her son-in-law, Ronald Zoerner; and her brother, William Saacks, Jr. and his wife, Athea. Adele worked for Dr. Val Acosta, D.D.S. for 30 years as a dental receptionist. She was a loving and kind person who never had a bad word for anyone. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Adele will be missed by all who knew her. The family would like to thank St. Tammany Hospice for the loving care given to Adele.
