We are thinking of Uncle Steve and you all. I remember his love of cooking and hosting visitors. So glad I was able to spend some time with him, Aunt Carol and family a few years ago, catching up over a Po Boy. Much love to you all!

So sorry to hear of Stephens passing. I served with him as Usher at the 11AM Mass for many years at St. Andrew the Apostle Church in Algiers. He was very dedicated to the Church, and a fine man. I enjoyed sharing our Navy stories with each other. I will keep you and your Family in my prayers.

I was privileged to have known this fine man for over 30 years. He and his wife Carol, blessed me by treating me as their "fifth child". My daughter Callie even called him "Grandpa Steve". He loved unconditionally and was one of the most honest men I've ever met. Quick to hug and always with a gleam in his eye. The world has lost a wonderful person, but Heaven has gained an angel. The Hinman family has always been an example to me of how a couple should love one another and love their children (without killing them.. ha ha.) Steve was one of the nicest and kindest men I've ever had the privilege to know. He was hard working, fun loving and family oriented. No doubt he will be deeply missed. May God comfort all of you in your time of sorrow until you meet again.
