Mr. Bob was key in shaping my early years with Shell Oil Company. I enjoyed working for him as have many others. My deepest sympathies are with him and his family.
So sorry to here of Bob passing. I worked for Bob on The Auger project for Shell. I never worked for a finer man. He will be greatly missed.
We were both schoolmates and classmates of Bobbie. I (Gene) worked for Shell and Bob was my Superintendent on the Auger project. Bob was such a good and kind person. He was so smart and was so respectful to all who worked for him and with him. He was loved and will be missed. Pat you and your family are in our prayers. Bobby was one the finest kids I have ever known who grew up to be one of the finest men I have ever known. I was there for his Eagle Scout ceremony and that inspired me to continue in Scouting and join him in the Fraterniy of Eagle Scouts. It was with great pride that as we progressed in our careers, we found ourselves, two Abbeville Wildcats, in the same organization (Shell) in the same area (Gulf of Mex) He produced the oil (Shell Prod.) and I transported it. He was always a gentleman and straight shooter. As one of the twins stated, he is now with those other Wildcats. Some day, we'll all have a seat at that table. Just heard about Bobby's passing. Did not have time to make the servicies. He was one of the engineers in our class. Rixby and I were engineers also. He is now at home with Carly.

It was a pleasure working with Bob at Shell in many different roles for several years. He was always a true gentleman and someone you could look to for help with anything at anytime. It was always nice to run into him on the Northshore and remember his kindness and care for others.
Although I didn't work closely with Bob, I do remember him and recall our interactions over our Shell careers. Those interactions always left me with admiration for his honesty, integrity and high morals. He will be missed by those who knew him at Shell. May he rest in peace.
