Miss Rita, Little did I know when I started dating Curtis and hanging out with Mike that I was going to meet you and Mr. Sherwood, not just my friend's parents but two of my dearest friends. I'll never forget all of our Saturday afternoon shopping sprees and margaritas that we had afterward to solve the problems of the world. I'll never forget our disco lessons with our husbands and how much they fussed before we went but loved their teacher once they got there. You and Mr. Sherwood and your kids became our family. You were our home base for the hundreds of finger sandwiches we made for the Halloween parties. I'll never forget shopping in the thrift stores for our Supremes Outfits. I have a lifetime of memories of times spent with your family--the one you so lovingly shared with Curtis and I. Now you are with you one and only true love, Mr. Sherwood. You're also with Curtis and so many others. I will always have a place for you in my heart. Mike, Penny and Belinda--I'm only a phone call away. Love you all and will keep you in my prayers. Love, Debbie
