I am so sorry in your loss of Peter. I could not attend services due to having pneumonia. I have a great many memories of our coaching together and umpiring his baseball games. He was a real character and will be missed by our community. He truly loved coaching and working with kids.

I was so sorry about Mr. Peters passing. He was always such a gentle man and a gentleman! I used to see him often at the outpatient pavilion, and the at Mary Bird CC with you. I bought some of the hats he wore for my husband because he looked so spiffy all the time!

Linda - my thoughts are with you and your family on hearing this sad news. I have so many wonderful memories of time spent with Mr. D as a child (Miss Green) with my family at the beach, swimming at your house, and at the bay. He was a lot of fun to be around. I know that he was a great friend to my father as well.
Peter & I go way back to when he had he own business Davidson Dist. I had the pleasure of dealing with him as a customer for years. He was such a character, always had a joke &, made my day to talk to him. My prayers go out to the family for their loss. Another angel has earned his wings, may he rest in peace. Dear Davidson Family, Bobby & I will remember Peter’s energetic, warm, welcoming personality & those vibrant blues eyes, filled with excitement. He definitely was the most entertaining & fun person (Bobby adds as a life long friend & fraternity brother). At “ Camp Davidson, “ ( the family home in the heart of Covington), Peter reigned as “Husband,” (to his beloved wife, Linda), “Dad,” ( to his younger sons, Stephen & Andrew), “ Coach,” to my son, John & many other community kids), “Chief Cook & Food Provider, “ ( to the multitudes of kids & neighbors, who flowed through Camp D’s doors daily).....even “ Extras, “ as evidenced when Peter ranted one day, “Linda, who is that kid in the kitchen eating my pork roast??”..... (Her reply), “ Don’t know....he must be hungry!!” Peter will be missed & live on in the hearts of the many lives that he touched. God bless him & his family.
