Mrs. Schaff was my English teacher and play director while I was at SSA. Though tough and yes, I was sometimes afraid of her😊, she pushed me to go beyond my comfort zone and do things that I normally would never do without her encouragement. She expected the best from me, so therefore I always wanted to give her my all. Because of her, I have such a great love of theatre! She's a part of so many happy memories for me. Two funny things I remember are how she used to always say the Our Father in mass faster than the rest of the congregation. She was done and waiting while we were still halfway through. Another memory is how she was so excited to give me my first ever Dove Point Reduction because I had forgotten my blazer for mass one day. She made such a big deal about it in front of the class, but I know it was all in fun! Thank you, Mrs. Schaff, for touching so many lives.
