Nancy was the first born of 5 Silings. Our years together as 5 Children were filled with love, fun, frolic and an occasional feud as to what TV Chanel we'd be watching when our Parents went out and left her in charge. We all had a wonderful Childhood, one that would compete head-to-head with Leave It To Beaver and Father Know's Best. As in most Families, we all grew-up and began to go our separate ways. Nancy loved being a Wife, Mother and Grandmother. Nancy always had a smile on her face and a heart of compassion.
Nancy's passing has been a traumatic event to our Families. However, knowing Nancy was committed to our Lord and a true Believer in Christ, she is now in Heaven where we will meet again.
Nancy was a Blessing in my life.

It is hard to put into words what Nancy meant to me, both professionally and personally. She made me a better teacher and is my example on how to be an effective Head of School. She was kind and selfless. She will be missed greatly by everyone in the St. Michael's Community.
It has been a privilege to be blessed with Nancy's friendship for many many years that ended so abruptly. Nancy graced us with her gentle demeanor, her bright smile, and was my champion of encouragement. We served our community together working in boards & committees such as Junior League, Leadership St. Tammany, Habitat, Safe Harbor and our most recent love, Library Foundation. Nancy was our Membership Chair with impeccable handwriting where she would personally send handwritten thank you cards toall of our members as her personal touch. Nancy loved challenges. She led as our committee as inaugural Distinguished Speaker Series Chair with Author, Howard Nichols. Nancy was an advocate of education and bettering our community.
She adored her sons and family. God has gained a lovely angel. I am sure her glowing smile is looking upon us providing blessings to all as she did as while she was with us. Rest in peace my dear friend. We will meet again.
It was my privilege to work with Nancy at St. Michael's Education Center. The golden reputation that institution attained was in no small part her doing. She raised both the morale of the teachers and the trust of the parents with her professional skill and her loving personality. Before she left she helped to choose a great successor. More than once I stated that hiring this wonderful woman was the best decision I made in my 20 plus years as Rector. God bless you, Nancy, for all the good you did for so many.
