Petunia has been on my mind few the last few months. No real reason. We were in grade school together. (8 yrs together) she graduated with a lot of my friends and we all went to differenr schools. Since I have been thinking of people ,she was one,so I looked in google to see where she was and am so sad to find out she has passed. She was a good friend in school. I am sure her family misses her.
Dear Nicaud Family and Extended Families: My first parish as a priest was at Holy Rosary in 1966 when the Nicaud Gang ruled Ursuline Ave. It was my joy to serve them and get close to them for my 6 years there. I remember Philip as a crushing football player in high school and a champion wrestler. He was a handful to say the least. You are no longer here on earth but you are no longer in mental and physical pain. Amy will miss you terribly but she knows how you suffered. I have no words to express how I am feeling.I am very sorry for your families lost but am so happy that you get to be with our Lord and have no more pain. In 1966 we had the best time together in the projects. I will never forget you.

Mom, no words can describe the fierce love I have for you and the even fiercer love you have for me. Your absence is definitely painful but I know you're in a place of no pain and suffering. You really are the best mom on this planet. You sacrificed so much for me and made sure I had everything I needed without complaint. Because of you I am strong. Strong because God is with me and within me. As He was with you. I don't know where I would be if you didn't teach me God's love. That is the greatest gift anyone could give. I miss you terribly and I love you with all of my heart and soul.
Petunia, how I will never forget the laughs we would have in the projects. When you would come over and see my mom sitting in her rocker, you would call out to her, Hey Sister Gen, how ya doing.she loved when you called her that. May God hold you in His arms, for all eternity. RIP my friend.
