I may not have gotten to know him but I wanted to pay my late respects to a man who showed my best friend Aubrey how to be a man and definitely taught him everything he needed to know. I know his grandfather is constantly watching over him and I can only pray that he continues. I wish I could've met him but I can at least meet him when I talk to Aubrey because I can tell his grandfather lives in him...
My grandfather was an amazing man, and the best friend I ever had. 2 years after his passing I come to this site to let it all out in a manner of speaking. He meant the world to me and to my siblings. He would call my mother asking her to let me spend time with him when he was in need of something to do. To this day I mourn his loss, missing the wonderful relationship we shared but I also reflect on the lessons he's taught me and the fond memories that will forever keep him alive in my heart. We miss you Cappy. <3 Aubrey.

We were shocked to hear of Louis being sick and then the progression was unimaginable. We are so sorry for your loss. We know how much you will miss him and his love for you all. It saddens me to be so far away and unable to attend the service. Much love from Colorado is being sent your way. And, I guess above all, KNOW YOU WERE AND ARE LOVED!!

So very sorry to read of Louis' passing. He was always so happy and joyful that I know he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. I will always remember both of you and your family.
Our prayers and love are with your family. We knew Louis through our gun shop in Slidell, S & S Custom Tactical. We knew when we saw Louis walking across the parking lot we were in for a couple belly laughs. He usually had his dog with him that he always asked could come into the shop. He will be sadly missed by so many.We certainly will miss him.
I always appreciated talking with & learning from Capt. Louie along the route. He regularly had good advice to offer & I enjoyed trading fine cigars with him.
