So sorry to hear about John’s passing at Mass this Sunday. John was one of the best people I’ve ever met. He led our Bible Study group for many years at Mary Queen of Peace. He was serious and devout and yet we always managed to have many good laughs and fun. He also was my son Jerry’s confirmation sponsor. I’m sure John will be praying for him in Heaven. Such a good man and I will miss him as my friend in our Lord.
I am a parishioner of Mary Queen of Peace Catholic church. Mr. Maloney did not know me but I knew he was a very devout man, always there, very kind. He will be missed greatly. So sorry for your families loss. May he rest in peace. Prayers for your family.

Deepest sympathy to Vivian and the family. John was such a sweet man who was always wearing a smile whenever I saw him. He shared many wonderful stories with a twinkle in his eye in the Bible Study we attended for years together at Mary, Queen of Peace. God speed, John!
