I am so deeply sorry to hear of your loss. My prayers and well wishes are for the entire Shea family.
I met Hal while attending Ursuline Academy as a teenager. My Father and Hal's Dad went to Tulane together! We were friends for many years. I actually met Hal again with his beautiful wife last summer at my best friend's wedding Rene Crowe.
Everybody loved Hal, how could you not!
Will be so missed. I am in prayer for his family.

I did not know Harold well but I am very fond of all the Shea's and want to send my sympathy.
The best brother-in-law / friend anyone could hope for. Thanks for sharing your love of life with us all.
An Irish Funeral Prayer
Death is nothing at all. It does not count. I have only slipped away into the next room. Everything remains as it was. The old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged. Whatever we were to each other, that we are still. Call me by the old familiar name. Speak of me in the easy way which you always used. Put no sorrow in your tone. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without effort Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was. There is unbroken continuity. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner. All is well. Nothing is hurt; nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before. How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting, when we meet again.
It is with the greatest sense of loss when learning of Harold's demise. I attended high school with Tim Shea and Ita Shea Ogelsby, the twins. Two of the finest classmates with humble spirits. My heart is truly saddened. His passing will leave a certain void in the lives of all those that really knew him. Please know that "earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal". My prayers of comfort and strength is extended to the entire Shea family in this hour of bereavement.

Some people are always in your life, even when they are far away and you haven't spoken for years. Hal was one of those people in my life. I wish him fair winds and following seas on his next journey.
May God bless you with every tender mercy and comfort in this time of your loss, holding you in His loving arms now and throughout all eternity.
Dear Elaine and Family of Harold,
I was so saddened to hear of Harold's passing. Although we hadn't seen much of each other over the years, his friendship was very dear and important to me. I'll never forget his mischievous personality, his optimism, and his wonderful smile and laugh. I will always remember Harold.
My heartfelt sympathies. You are in my prayers.
