My thoughts and prayers go out to the family, Aunt Phyllis, Loretta and Steve. Uncle Elliot, my Godfather was a great man. Always had a smile on his face for everyone. My greatest memory of him is him giving me away at my wedding after the passing of my Dad. I really appreciated the way he stepped up to help me with this. I loved visiting him in Chalmette and him showing me his garden and wood workshop. He had a very green thumb and his garden was always beautiful. I will always cherish the rocking horse "Elliot" that he made for my children when they were little. My grandson is enjoying it now. It will be in the family for future generations to enjoy. Elliott was one of the most caring and nicest people I ever knew. He was a dedicated volunteer at St. Tammany Parish Hospital and always had a smile and kind word for everyone! Phyllis, my heart and prayers are with you and your family!!
