My condolences and prayers are with you and your family. Ed was a larger than life guy. We kept in contact via email. I met Ed at St Michaels when my family and I moved to Mandeville. I even purchased a collector card of him from his pro football days.
Ed, Although We haven't seen each other in over 50 yrs,I still remember the friendship you showed me at Ole Miss.You were a true gentleman and will be greatly missed by all of us.Your friend,Bob
Dear Friends: What a loss in the death of our friend Ed Beatty! Not only was he our dentist from Covington, Folsom, and Mandeville but he was our friend. He always had a wonderful, entertaining story to tell us while he expertisely worked in our mouth. His absence will be felt my many in the years to come. However, the wonderful memories we have of Ed Beatty will never die.

Gaylen, Leda and I are sorry we were unable to attend Ed's service. Did not hear about it in tme. Ed was our dentist for years and we will remember his compassionate care. We will remember him also from Christ Church Cov.. He will be missed.
