To the Leonard Family - There are no words that will make this difficult time any easier. Though, I can honestly say, I do know what you are feeling & going through. The more important something is, the more it hurts to lose. I feel a great loss at this time. My prayers go out to the whole family that I've known since Matt and I were in 4th Grade. I love all of you and your father did a great job with Miss Toni raising all of you. Your dad was a man of respect and honor. God Bless all of you in this time of grief.

I remember Eddie very well!!!
In my senior year (1957-58) he played in his junior year one end at St. Paul's football team and I played the other. But, unlike me, he caught many passes and, I believe, made a number of touchdowns.
Even in high school he was highly respected and admired.
I am glad, as well as saddened, to see that he will join my parents, Tim and Helen Edma, and a number of other relatives at the Abbey.
I am very sorry for the Leonard family. Eddie and I were classmates from K thru 12 and then some time at Southeastern. We were team mates on every time fielded at St. Paul's and close friends for a life time. I will miss him greatly.
To the family of "Chief" Leonard, my condolences. A friend, a mentor, a smile and a kind word, is how I will remember Eddie. He made a difference in so many lives, he will be missed!
