Carol was an angel here on earth. She will live in my heart always. She was such an inspiration for many. She lived what she believed. I will miss her quiet voice and generous heart. Carol, I love you now and always as you slowly move into your new life.
We have known Carol for a very long time. The first time we met her was on a garden tour in Algiers. And of course I had to go to the bathroom desperately. When we went in her backyard and was looking around I could see if she was a gentle soul. I took the leap and asked her if I could use her bathroom in her house. Of course she said go right ahead and look around if you want. She was so sweet and friendly and of course we found out a little later that we were all friends with other friends. We all would get together and speak of many spirituality issues that we all believed in. She was so easy to talk to and always had such wise information and suggestions. We grew to love her very much and spent many different times with her. We went on an Alaskan bus tour and cruise with 12 friends. It was a two week trip that we will never forget. To this day it was my favorite vacation ever. Carol at 74 did the zip line. She was so brave and just loved to enjoy life. We will miss her greatly and she will always be in our heart. We love you Carol, BRENDA and ALICE.
I would like to express the admiration I have for my Aunt Carol Calvo. She has been an inspiration in my adult life. I watched her for over 60 years go through rough times and not give in to them but grow because of them. We shared many great times in the last 20 year's and I will always remember her outbursts during the Saints games. She loved the Saints!! I will miss her and will carry her in my heart forever. Love you Aunt Carol!!

Mrs. Carol is a beautiful soul. She cared for so many children (including me and my brother) but she also cared for families. She made time to make us all feel loved and welcomed. I pray she works through us from the other side. My condolences to her children and family, I'm sure you miss her terribly.
Mrs. Carol was a special person in my life. I was only 18 when I first started working at CCC. She was the best boss and friend to me and my whole family. She was there when I got married had my children and when my parents passed away. She was a person who always gave that extra mile to someone in need. She attending countless graduation weddings and showers of my children. She was there when my husbands parents passed away. I will forever love and cherish all the times I shared with her. The 15 years I spent at CCC were the best times in my and my children's lives. She will always be in my heart .
