Dear uncle "B' and Family, I have such fond memories of Aunt Betty at all of our past family gatherings. She was the true historian behind every far-fetched Donahue Fable. She would roll her big beautiful brown eyes and say come on Beanie tell the truth. Now we will never know what is Donahue Legacy from Donahue Fiction. She was, so special, extremely talented and an utterly patient person to endure all she did, without a peep. I will miss her signature red lipstick kiss she tatooed to my cheek, every time we'd meet. she's in my Rosary nitely. Love, Bridget
Aunt Baboo,
My heart is heavy during this time...as you will sorely be missed by your family and friends especially me. Thank you for taking over the role of my godmother after Aunt Christie passed. I will always remember the great times we had at your house like the times we dressed up for Mardi Gras, the ghost stories, Christmas, Thanksgiving and all of the fond memories that I have of you.

How can I explain to anyone the feelings that I have for you. You were closer to me than a sister. What am I going to do without you? You were so good to me and my children. You don't know how many times I think of you during the day and see something on t.v. or read something in the paper and think to call you and talk with you about it. I cannot believe you are gone but you are in a wonderful place....

Dick and I send our love and deepest sympathy to all those who loved Betty. For me she will always remain the epitome of a beautiful, gracious Southern lady, and a special example of what a wife and mother should be. For each of you - especially Richard who was blessed to have her in his life for so many years, and our very dear Lorrie - we pray that your memories will continue to bring you joy and that time will bring you peace.

It has been so many years(more than I care to admit) since we were neighbors on Beverly Drive, and when we used to cause such mayhem in the neighborhood, especially Timmy and I. We always seemed to be getting in trouble for one thing or another, from breaking Mr. Biggers window to hiding cigarettes under his house.

Mom...I always wanted to be just like you, so lovely and so kind; so intellectually curious and so talented...I love that you loved rollercoasters and getting lost in Paris. I love that you loved opera and off color jokes. I loved to hear you sing and I cherish the things you sculpted and painted and knitted for me. I love that you loved all the crazy people that I paraded through your house. I love that you over-looked all the thoughtless things I did in my youth and I love that you befriended me in my old age!
